Tianjin, 25 Mar 2017: Residents and employees of the Eco-City participated in a cycling event organised by Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (SSTEC) in the Eco-Business Park (EBP) in the Eco-City on 25 March (Saturday), in conjunction with the Earth Hour 2017.
The night cycling event saw more than 50 participants cycling for over 6 km around the EBP. The event "Green Cycling For A Blue Future" is in line with the theme of Earth Hour 2017 in China "Uniting People To Protect The Planet " (蓝色WE来). This is the sixth year SSTEC has joined the global movement Earth Hour to signal its unwavering commitment to protect the environment.

CEO of SSTEC, Mr Tay Lim Heng, said, "Using bicycle to commute is a great mode of green transportation as the amenities in the Eco-City are within cycling or walking distance of residential areas. We are happy to see the residents and employees join us tonight in our cycling activity to promote sustainable and environment-friendly lifestyle in the Eco-City."
