The Eco-Business Park played host to more than 3,000 visitors at the "Carnival of Eco-City" on 10 Sep 2016, to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival. Now in its second year, this one-day event aims to enrich the lives of Eco-City residents and workforce and promote community harmony in the Eco-City. The Carnival featured a variety of activities such as family-bonding games and performances by professional troupes. The carnival-goers were treated to a diverse array of Southeast Asian delicacies, including Singapore’s iconic Nyonya Kueh, Thai curry crab and Vietnamese spring rolls, at the Gourmet Festival. A flea market was also set up to facilitate the exchange of used products, so as to promote a low-carbon lifestyle by reducing waste generation in the Eco-City.

The day’s highlight was the Music Festival, where five aspiring talents selected from some 100 contestants from all walks of life in the Eco-City serenaded the carnival-goers with popular tunes. The Carnival was rounded off with a lucky draw with over 200 prizes at stake, including a family tour to Singapore as the grand prize.
